About Us

FatStax is the brainchild of Mark Walker and Dr. Rusty Bishop, the founders of Red Funnel. Having sales experience, they both realized that sales professionals were at a distinct disadvantage. Technology had given the potential customer more knowledge about a given product or service than what the sales professional was prepared for, especially when responsible for a detailed and extensive product line.

There was plenty of information for a sales professional to access it. The problem is that it’s not conveniently accessible when salespeople need it, in front of customers. Carrying around and thumbing through catalogs, clicking through multiple pages on laptops and struggling with slow internet connections makes it difficult to provide the information potential customers need right then and right now.

In other words, those heavy “Fat Stacks” of paper catalogs just weren’t practical or useful when dealing with an educated and impatient marketplace. Mark and Rusty saw the need to for a product that provided instant access to all the needed product and marketing material . . . but that access also needed to be searchable and sendable.

The guys at Red Funnel set out to create a solution to this challenge and bring the power of these new mobile tools to the hands of the sales force. That solution is FatStax. They didn’t stop there though. Incorporating customer feedback into each version makes the solution even more powerful now.

Here you aren’t seen as a customer, but a business partner. Mark and Rusty and the FatStax team understand that their success is a result of your success.

Take a moment and meet your business partners.
